After the RIRS or PCNL procedure, a temporary stent is mostly reserved for several weeks to guide the ureter drainage and stone discharging, to prevent the new stone formation.

Type A Triangular Prism Stent
Triangle Prism structure design and concavesurface.
Bigger space reserved between the stent and the ureter that promotes drainage. Less contact between the stent and the ureter that will reduce the adhesion and facilitate ease of removal.
Type B Cylindrical Stent
Larger inner lumen and thinner stent wall design to promote the drainage. Cylindrical body matching to the ureter reduces the foreign body sensation.
